Troop 375 Of Crandall, TX Recognizes 4 Eagle Scouts
On August 13th, 2013 Troop 375 of Crandall Tx recognized 4 young men for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. The evening was spent acknowledging their scouting journey from Cub Scout Tiger through their rank of Eagle. The young men honored were Reed Foster, Jared Dunlap, Ryan Baldwin and Nicholas Dittmeyer. I would also like to acknowledge two very new Eagle Scouts of Troop 375 not represented in this photograph. Sean McKnight and Cain Foster recently earned their Eagle ranks as well. The Court of Honor was attended by family, friends, Crandall Mayor Cody Frazier and Assistant District Commissioner Jose Rodriquez. Congratulations to these young men and all who supported and encouraged them through their scouting journey. Texas Skies District is proud of you all.
A New District Executive for Texas Skies District
Meet Marjorie Malig, the new Texas Skies District Executive. Marjorie grew up as an “Army Brat” spending some of her youth in Schweinfurt, Germany; San Diego, California; Lawton, Oklahoma; and Manhattan, Kansas, but she was mainly raised in Mesquite, Texas. Marjorie graduated from Mesquite High School and went on to graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English literature./p>
Some of Marjorie’s hobbies include traveling, reading/writing/illustrating, anything regarding music (she plays the guitar and flute), Gaelic football, and when she is able…surfing.
Marjorie’s passion is encouraging, developing, and strengthening the characteristics of nobility and leadership in others, as well as herself. She is very proud to be employed by the Boy Scouts of America so that she may contribute, in whatever ways she can, to help increase the amount of great leaders in our society.
Marjorie looks forward to meeting and working with the Texas Skies District Scouting community! Marjorie can be contacted at Marjorie.Malig@scouting.org or 210-744-0608.
